WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Link Preview in Emails

    In new Yahoo Mail, "Automatically generate a preview of links" is not working. It should be fixed or just allow users to go back to old Yahoo Mail. Thank you.

  3. Fixing Issues with Fonts

    I would like the Font that I selected in my Yahoo Mail settings to function when I write an email. I chose Classic- Medium. When I write an email, the font automatically reverts to Classic, Tiny. I have to consistently change the font while writing the email to Classic Medium. Can you fix this ongoing issue?

  4. Issues with Yahoo Mail compose feature not working properly

    Hello,

    I have been experiencing issues while using the Yahoo Mail compose feature.

    Sometimes the compose window does not load properly or certain functions (like formatting, attachments, or sending emails) don’t work as expected. Is this a known issue, or is there something I can do to fix it?

    Are there any recommended settings or browser requirements to ensure the compose feature works smoothly?

  5. Yahoo Premium

    I recently upgraded to Yahoo Premium to increase my email storage space. I needed to edit and send a form to my doctor today. His receptionist received the form with my signature only. Any fields on the form that I entered information in a blank space were erased. I kept opening the PDF form on my computer and could see all content. I would upload the form to the email message, click on the icon to see the preview, and none of the content that I entered in the blank fields of the form showed in the uploaded one to…

  6. backspace deletes emails that are being replied to

    When I try to reply to an email and I hit the back space, at all, it deletes the entire email. I just hit the back space on a very important thread of emails and it permanently deleted the entire string of emails I have been trying to work out a return for an expensive product for. When an email is in my inbox, it will automatically send it to the trash folder and exit the email if I press the back space and it does this without warning. the reply function/forward seems very buggy and there was also an…

  7. Sending Videos

    When I send a video of mine from Vimeo- I always got a Thumbprint ID so I knew the video I was sending was correct. With the NEW email I don't get that Thumbprint confirmation. I always wonder if the correct video I'm sending IS correct? You might want to re-add that feature on the NEW email. Other than that aspect it's ok.
