WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Customizable buttons

    please, make available the possibility to change the order the fast buttons command over the message ....for example, I use frequently the button "archive", but I have to find in the menu because is not immediately available.... maybe you can do a customizable function for the buttons. Thank you. Lorenzo

  2. Offer support - filters are not working

    There is not place I see where I can request support or help. I am trying to filter my email be sender, and I choose that option, but my email doesn't respond. It still filters by date.

  4. Function for removing emails is not working

    The function for deleting all unread messages does NOT remove more than 100 even when I mark Remove all.
    Please sort this out before askinfg your customer to pay for storage.

  5. Email view settings: Compact view

    Thanks for the new interface. however, it would be great to continue having the compact / comfortable space options to view email. this feature seems to have been remove and it now takes more scrolls to view email at a glance

    I am having major issues with the updated changes to the Calendar, very dissatisfied

    I NEED TO BE ABLE FOR ALL TIMESLOTS TO BE VISIBLE ON THE MAIN SCREEN AT ALL TIMES.

    WE HAVE DOZENS OF BOOKINGS IN A DAY
    THE EVENING BOOKINGS AS WELL NEED TO BE VISIBLE…

  7. Microsoft Teams invites

    You had this feature before, but now I can no longer accept invites from Micorsoft Teams in my email. I have my email linked to my google calendar so the solution to add invites to my yahoo mail are useless. This would be one of the biggest reasons I may have to stop using yahoo if you guys can't fix this.

  8. Adding email address to contacts

    I've tried, unsuccessfully, to add email addresses to my contacts I couldn't get them to SAVE, because I never saw a SAVE BUTTON. . It must be operator error, but I am wondering if this is a glitch in the new system and others are having the same difficulty?

  9. When moving an email to another folder, ask "are you sure?" before actually moving the email.

    Sometimes an e-mail is sent too quickly or hasn't been proof read thoroughly. It would be nice to be able to do edit or recall an e-mail.

    I accidentally blocked some email addresses that I want to retrieve. I don't see a way to do that.

  12. Sending Videos

    When I send a video of mine from Vimeo- I always got a Thumbprint ID so I knew the video I was sending was correct. With the NEW email I don't get that Thumbprint confirmation. I always wonder if the correct video I'm sending IS correct? You might want to re-add that feature on the NEW email. Other than that aspect it's ok.

  13. Fixing Issues with Fonts

    I would like the Font that I selected in my Yahoo Mail settings to function when I write an email. I chose Classic- Medium. When I write an email, the font automatically reverts to Classic, Tiny. I have to consistently change the font while writing the email to Classic Medium. Can you fix this ongoing issue?

  14. Improved Calendar Event Editing

    When I edit an existing Calendar Event - change the date - then click on another field such as the time - the square calendar box where I selected the new date does NOT close. This makes it difficult to select the SAVE button. Please improve this.

  16. Recent folder list in move button

    It would be great to have the list of the 5 most recent folders on top when you press the move button to move an email to a different folder. Every time you need to do it, you need to locate the folder again and again. Thanks!

  17. You can improve yhoo mail by restoring the ability for users to see the dates they entered in the calendar.

    Dear Yahoo team, please, stop improving the calendar and restore the customer's ability to see the dates I've added that are important for me. Everything has become terrible, and I'm looking for other ways to add them to the calendar from different sources.

  18. Connect multiple Comcast mailboxes after migrating to Yahoo

    I have more than one email from my years at Comcast.net and use one as my primary, and another as secondary. There seems to be no way, after a half hour of working at it, to combine another (or ANY) Comcast Mailbox. Options are there for Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, and 'Other.' Nothing seems to work.
    I still want to be able to use the one sign in to monitor all my email accounts.
    Please advise if this is possible, and my best steps to make it happen.

  19. FWD msg to recipient

    The last time there was a yahoo update a feature seemed to change.
    Now, when i hit forward on an email, it DOESNT automatically put the cursor in the TO field for the recipient. Im not sure where its selected, but it needs to go back to that, like it is on every other mail platform. When you fwd to someone, I should be able to start typing the address without first having to click in the TO field. thanks!!

  20. Protect Starred/Tagged Emails from "Select All" Deletion

    The 'Select All' feature is fantastic for quickly clearing junk. However, when 'Select All' is used, it includes emails that I have already marked as Starred (or otherwise "tagged important").

    My suggestion is that the system should be designed to automatically exclude any emails that are Starred/Tagged Important when the user selects 'Select All' for deletion. This would prevent accidentally deleting priority messages while mass-clearing the inbox.

    In short: Starred/Important emails should be protected from the 'Select All' function for deletion.
